I learned racing bikes that you don’t race to the top of the hill, you race to where the hill starts going back down. I learned from swimming that you don’t race into your turns, you race out of them.
And I learned somewhere that if you drag your feet doing one task to avoid the next one, that is not, no matter what you tell yourself, living in the moment. Too often I don’t remember it, but I do know it. And now I got a strip episode out of it, so I can move on to the next episode.
