Someone’s gonna get a lot of static out of this. Grounds for battery charges are being considered.

Could be a flashy Tesla, now, or a golf cart, or a motorcycle; or airport tug for tunnels, or a man-carrying drone, or private plane , or freight locomotive. You’ve been unclear.

My nephew brought a Prius when they first came out.Not long after the warranty ran out he found out, to his surprise. How much a replacement battery cost.He did not buy another when he traded it off.

Poor guy! I know it’s a little late now, but maybe you could buy him a calculator and teach him how to use Google search.

Alternator provides AC to diodes which get hot and send noisy DC to Regulator which gets hot and sends DC to batteries which get hot when charging and discharging which power inefficient motors, and a drive train, which get hot. Then motors and breaks stop the little thing and they also get hot. And what is done with all this heat energy, I ask?

Had a 2004 Prius for 12 years. Today my wife and I have a 2011 all-electric Nissan Leaf and a 2016 plug in Chevy Volt. They all go through car washes just fine. The Nissan Leaf will go through deep water puddles better than most gas cars as shown in this YouTube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvp6pc9D2sU

Neither car wash nor rain nor high water will electrocute.
