There may turn out to be grounds for impeachment, but there will have to be a big smoking gun to get Republicans to agree. But keep pointing out everything immoral and stupid and mendacious and evil. And figure out how to explain to Trump’s base that his program and the Republican program is bad for them.To my conservative friends: principled conservatives should be disgusted and horrified by Trump’s behavior. You don’t have to buy this package to be conservative. In long run, and it’s probably not so long, you will damage yourselves by sticking with Trump, and the longer you stick the more damage.

The Articles of Impeachment against Trump alleges attempts to influence former FBI Director James Comey and Comey’s subsequent firing equal high crimes and misdemeanors. A Republican Senate could not find a way to remove Clinton. There’s no reason to think, barring some cataclysmic development, that a Republican Senate would remove Trump.
Denis, Why is it the Repubs have won so many elections since 2009? When they won in 2009 because Dems stupidly don’t vote in mid-terms, the Repubs took advantage of a census year to gerrymander to an extreme never seen before. One district in Ohio is connected by a six-inch strip of land along a beach so that they could eliminate Kucinich or Kaptur, two VERY popular Dems.
Bush, Cheney and friends lied to destroy Afghanistan and Iraq to get rid of two people and only got one of them, Saddam, bin Laden went down under Obama, and we’re still losing troops as a result of the Bush screwups that CREATED ISIL! Sadly, Trump’s lies are intended to DESTROY AMERICA, NOT “make it great again”, but quite the opposite. Everything they’ve done to date or even attempted, has made America weaker in the eyes of the world and a far more dangerous for our citizens, resources, and the planet.
