We will probably never see a US President who is a woman. In the US women are still expected to be perfect, and there is no such thing as a perfect person who runs for office.
I hope Trump fans are enjoying America’s diminished standing in the world. But, don’t worry it will all be worth it when your medical costs and overall taxes increase to give a bigger slice of the pie to the 1%. BTW, you weren’t actually expecting new high pay low skilled jobs to appear in the rust belt now were you?
So the whole point of Democrats, liberals, progressives, and the DNC was that I am supposed to vote for Mrs. Clinton because she is a woman. It was either blatantly or subtly stated, but out there the entire time. And if I did not vote for her, I was sexist. However Angela Merkel may not be safe this year. It ought to be interesting to see what happens in 2.5 months with the German elections.
I have no problem voting for a black person (male or female.) I have no problem voting for a woman (black, white, asian, or purple with pink polka dots.) I have a problem voting for someone that does not stand for what I think is right or that I disagree with. Hence I did not vote for President Trump either.
That being said, Angela Merkel is a powerful force in Europe. She is pushing Germany to the top in power, politically and financially, and pushing the EU pretty hard – because the EU is showing signs of shattering.
When Trump gave us more options for healthcare at a lower price, he kicked millions off of insurance and raised prices. When Trump looked into the Russian meddling in our elections, he set up a task force with the hackers. When Trump built our infrastructure up, he gave tax cuts to the wealthy and toll roads to the poor. Is it any surprise that when he put America first, we ended up last? Trump’s incompetence lost us our place in the world.
Suffice it to say that if this was going on during a Hillary Clinton presidency you can bet that the entire Reich Wing political machine would be chewing up everything to have her impeached and if possible put to death for doing traitorous acts. (YOU know they would.)
Who said I support Mr. Trump? I did not vote for him, nor did I vote for Mrs. Clinton. I am simply offering up a different view than the blinded ideology that is continuously pushed here by a small group.
Ideology is blinding to something that may or may not be. And it does not matter whose ideology.

Her hands are bigger than Trump’s, simply because she can handle so much more is the proof.

Li’l ol’ me said, "I have no problem voting for a black person (male or female.) " Yeah, me neither, as long as he’s not of African descent.
