Wow. Sluggo needs help as much as ‘Sad Sack’…

Nice shout-out to George Baker.
I miss the days when the spinner rack held a supply of “Sad Sack” comics!
Always seemed like a poor man’s Beetle to me…..even though he predates Pvt. Bailey
Lazy? We had a sp-4 at Ft. Gordon 1963 that would have made BB look like a work-a-holic!
I enjoyed Sad Sack a lot more than Beetle Bailey… maybe because I didn’t see it for as long and it somehow seemed more like real army stuff. I also used to make puns about Sad Sack and Glad Bags.
Looks like Private Snafu to me.
Does Sluggo want some fries with is sandwich?
It’s a Western sandwich. Two pieces of bread with wide open spaces in between.
