And I have a brother who could attest to Herrweh’s comment, if he had had insurance when he finally discovered he had cancer he might not be my late brother.

Well, when I got insurance through the ACA, My premiums went DOWN, and I got BETTER coverage, with a SMALLER deductible, WITH my same Doctor!

Obamacare must be doing something right to motivate the tens of thousands of demonstrators who want to keep it. The Trump version really will kill many people and dump a large number of people out of nursing homes onto the street. It appears to me the republicans really beleive that if you can’t pay for care, it is OK to leave you die in the streets. I can’t even begin to imagine how that squares with Christian principals.

What is REALLY scary is the number of people who got their insurance through the “Affordable Healthcare Act”, because they didn’t want to get it through “Obamacare”!

I still am amazed at the people who want to buy just the health insurance they need. Scheduling your cancer or broken leg is not a common practice but is an expensive venture.

So Steve, just to try to get some facts, isn’t Obamacare still in effect? Last time I checked, it was still causing doubling of premiums, co-pays, and deductibles. Just like it was designed to do.

You’re right about part of Obamacare, though, and the proposed GOP bills. Someone should just have said, “Pass it, then read it.” That’s a good precedent the Dems set.

Now, does it bother you that they admitted they lied to get it passed? Nah, lies are always good things when Dems tell them.

Somehow, I can’t imagine that the real Barack Obama is smiling about what the Republicans are trying to do to his eponymous band-aid on America’s disastrous health-care arrangement. (I refuse to call it a “system”, because real systems show signs of having been designed, instead of just accidentally occurring wherever money happened to be.)

CRIS.RAY14, UPS and FedEx now deliver packages to the US Post Office for the last part of the delivery. Looks like they both think USPS does a great job.

.US Navy commercial from a couple of years ago said that the Navy protects all of the commerce moving across the water. So US taxpayers lost manufacturing jobs and then have to cover the cost of protecting the shipments. Here is one place you can privatize – let the companies that sent manufacturing to China, Vietnam, etc. pay for protecting their shipments to the US.

IONIZER, Obamacare slowed the increases that had been a part of insurance premiums and deductibles every year. Requiring 85% of premiums to go to medical coverage helped slow the increases.
