For Republicans, health care is not a right.

It is a privilege to be enjoyed only by those who can pay for it.

Republicans just cannot figure out how to force legislation through to enforce that principle without revealing what it is they believe in.

Why not also repeal the requirement that ERs treat patients even if they cannot pay, since it raises the price for those who can pay? Free market, right?

WNCONELLY is absolutely right. Bismarck realized the country needed a health work force to become prosperous. The US Congress set up a plan to National Health, and the AMA was all for it.

We went to war with Germany and scrapped the plan. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

These elephants were elected to say no to a black guy, they don’t know how to write legislation or create a healthcare bill. They can’t get along with Democrats, the white house or each other. These guys only know how to obstruct.

It took the Dems almost two years to pass Obama Care. Why should it take the Republicans less time to do something to fix the cratering Obama Care. The only ones who think Obama Care is good are the ones not paying for it.Those of us who pay really like the $4000 deductibles and co-pays along with the $600 a month premiums.

idahoser :“health care is a product you purchase from someone willing to provide it for a price. You can not be “given” someone else’s labor, that’s slavery.”

Then Republicans should absolutely repeal the law Reagan signed that requires ERs to treat people even if they cannot pay.

Can’t pay? Sorry, Charlie. You shoulda thought of that before you became poor. Or were born poor.

Newborn with an expensive life threatening condition? Sorry, kid. You shoulda picked parents with coverage.

@DENIS1112 — Ignores that the GOP has been repealing/“replacing” the PPACA since it was passed. This is WHAT they have after 7 years of effort – tax cuts for Rich and strangulation of Medicaid!
