Many first hand stories of those who need and rely on Medicaid. Sporadic second hand stories of abuse. Ask around, I know first hand several people who are using “my tax dollar” and I see it as money well spent.
Ahhh, the next time an untreated sick person coughs on a supporter of the AHCA, they can thank the Koch’s Congress for something, perhaps resistant tuberculosis or Zika virus. Your children will be exposed eventually to the untreated, either first hand or second, a problem that could have been resolved if the GOP were truly Christians they profess to be, and not soul less sell outs they prove they are.
If that’s true, and we know it is for so-called ‘conservatives’, then they absolutely should abolish Obamacare, just void the legislation,
AND
they should also void the legislation that requires ERs to treat anyone who cannot pay. If they die in the street, it’s their own damn fault for not earning more and not taking care of themselves better.
In the previous presidential campaign, there was a Republican debate in South Carolina. A moderator began a question with ‘Suppose someone is dying in the street because they had no health insurance…’
At that point, the Republican audience erupted in a cheering ovation.

The G.O.P. is channeling Ebenezer Scrooge; " “If they would rather die, they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population.”

Republicans should just finish the job by getting rid of that silly law requiring ERs to treat patients, even if they can’t afford it.
After all, health care is not some right.
It’s a privilege to be enjoyed by only those who can afford it.
Just like education, clean drinking water and all that other stuff that libruls are always yammering about.

And let’s not forget that just because ER treats those who can not afford treatment the provider still duns to collect payment.

@Dagnabbit: more people are happy with their government-provided programs than they are with regular insurance; and it is cheaper to run.

Trumpcare was withdrawn by mcconnell since it was going to lose 95 to 5. Big humiliation for GOP.
