Sad but true. It’s not so much the games it’s the internet. While a great tool people can’t live without, it destroys the need for kids to play outside when all they have to do is jack into the matrix.

Notice that there are no cords tethering the person to the couch. Just finished a walk and most of the people walking and running on the trail were connected to mobile devices.

It’s worse than being a wired up Borg prisoner character on Star Trek.

Parents are still responsible for integrating new technologies into their children’s lives AND how to interact with other people !

The internet is a wonderful thing, but we’re ending up with a generation of kids growing up without social skills or being able to work together as a team. Too isolating.

Today we hear cable news reports about a child being kidnapped 45 states away. The children are kept inside, because something could happen to them outside. That along with children having an equal say in their lives and the family, means they get more input in to what they will be doing to while away the hours of the summer.

true we don’t just kick kids out to do as they please. Things are different today, that isn’t automatically bad.
