My state’s requirements for CCP, background checks, proof of proficiency and knowing the ETHICS of firearms, like when NOT to shoot, not just shoot, should be the minimum federal law on all gun owners and transfers.
So, WHY do you have to have extensive training, a written AND Practical skills test with the real thing that you HAVE to pass to get a license to drive a Semi, but you DON’T have to have the same thing to buy a gun??
1977::The NRA is taken over by the gun and ammunition manufacturing businesses and so turned away from their 90 year old creed about gun safety which included back ground checks and gun safety and not selling such things to mental defects and criminals.
