I’m thinking prescient, more than semi-autobio… and at the very least, just stating fact; the human race is greedy, stupid, and self destructive INREF the panel depicting the earth going to hell in a hand basket. We are making too many people to support, and not being proactive enough to reverse that which we have wrought! Good book on the matter is: “Scatter, Adapt, Survive” by Annalee Newitz, or if you want a video version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1Pdx1BYRAU
Such drugs dulls the senses, smothers the creative spark. Better to use the darkness than be stymied by it. Plenty of tv shows showing dark futures from Walking Dead to The Mist to The Strain. I watch them all and write my own. They are hardly any better. Oh and The Handmaid’s Tale. I prefer the book and the first movie.

Prozac is underrated. I recommend it for all your rides.

Given the subject matter of so many of the Lay Lines strips you have to wonder if this one is semi autobiographical.
