Georgia has done something that will assure her success, I think—she has created a visual style that exudes cuteness, shows her love of cats, and is original. Lupin’s expression and his paws in the first panel, adorable. I love the little stories too.

Robin Wood – of the wonderfully illustrated books and cards, especially from Llewellyn publishing – once said that cats lay in sunbeams making “cat gravity”; converting solar energy into a form that is released when they sit on our laps and make us unable to get up (or stay conscious), a condition known as COL (cat-on-lap) or in its junior form, KOL.
