Blame globlization, limiting the imports and exports would have kept some of the jobs here. Cost working in US would have kept companies from successfully working here though.
Colt, but in the past few days I read where a German auto company (BMW maybe, can’t remember for sure) is building a plant in the US because labor is so much cheaper here than in Germany.

VW is currently building a plant in Tennesse. They are currently testing and hiring workers.
