Seeing as how the Dem leadership is determined to maintain the pro-corporate status quo, the only way they’ll pick up any seats in ‘18 is via anti-Trump sentiment. Sorry, but I don’t vote for the lesser of two evils if there’s a third party candidate I want to vote for. If the Dems want my vote, they will have to run progressive candidates not beholden to corporations….. or do their best to suppress the other candidates.
I realize it is much much easier and simpler to blame someone else for unresolved problems than to do the hard work of deliberation and reconciliation.
John Adams wrote in a letter in 1780: “There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.”
“I was no party man myself, and the first wish of my heart was, if parties did exist, to reconcile them.” GEORGE WASHINGTON, letter to Thomas Jefferson, July 6, 1796
We need a real left wing party, and it might form due to the reaction from the total insanity the idiot liar thief republicans are handing out these days.
We need ranked-choice voting posthaste. (That is most emphatically NOT a “jungle primary”). It’s an excellent way to shut up those fools who blame independent voters (including those registered Democratic) for causing their favorite corporate mouthpiece to lose because the independents “threw away their votes”.
Well, it might not shut them up, but I’d have to ask what the hell they were complaining about.
Once again, Trump, Supreme Court seat stealing, Russian collusion, money laundering, Nepotism and sharing secrets with the Russians, all the democrat’s fault. If they had just blah blah blah… The Russians would have used a different tactic to push their candidate on people who just know they don’t want no minorities getting no health care.
It kills me to say it, but the Dems really do have a dearth of strong candidates. As one who lives in a district represented by the latest Kennedy politician (Ted K. Jr.), I have been less than impressed so far. Lots of talk, too little action. Unless there’s a camera around, that is.

I’m in love with Ms. Warren, but I don’t want her to run. She’s better situated where she is.

Spot on cartoon, Ted. But I also agree with Packratjohn, above.
There have to be more candidates than just Warren.

Sadly not, Braindead. The only party worse than the Dems is the Repubs. And the only party worse than the Repubs is the Dems..Maybe Hillary again?

Change is coming, from the ground up (I hope it’s not zombies) so to speak. Unfortunately, money is power and is hard to beat.

Superposition is correct. Adams said this more than once. To make it happen, there must be pressure. From the governed electorate.

Finally Ted makes some sense. How about keeping this up instead of stabbing Obama and Hillary in the back.
