That is SO on point. If he signs a trade deal & the Dow jumps 100 points but he farts on the way out, MSNBC and CNN report on the fart as their lead. And never move on from it.
All media is driven by ratings. A mentally ill presidential candidate drove ratings during the campaign, and that same mental illness still drives ratings. It’s like a traffic jam caused by a horrific accident. Every car slows down to look at the carnage.
Yeah, this is pretty stupid. I agree, the media is handling this badly. On the other hand, Trump is a failed president and there is a desperate need for action. Just because the media is blowing it doesn’t mean #presidenttaserface is doing a great job.
If I interpret the sentiments of the cartoon right, Mr. Kelly is stating that the constant contacts between the Trump Campaign and Russian operatives, even today a very serious adversary of the United States, are perfectly normal and shouldn’t be scrutinized. I personally find that attitude puzzling and even somewhat dangerous. Especially since it has been substantiated that Russia was the country responsible for the DNC e-mail attack.
A analogy would be, “Mr. R and Mr. D were accosted on a dark street by an armed robber – Mr. D was relieved of his wallet and credit cards while Mr. R was untouched. Mr. D complained vociferously upon receiving bills on the stolen cards, whereupon Mr. R announced to the world that he didn’t understand the ruckus since HE suffered NO LOSS!” Be it also noted that Mr. D’s suspicions would naturally be raised when it was noted that Mr. R was NOT robbed, at all!
This is funny, like Fatso trump would eat a salad. It isn’t the dressing, it is all the contacts and classified information being passed that people are worried about. Is it great yet?

If only the idiocy and incompetence of this administration were so innocuous. Many Republicans stuck by Nixon until the bitter end as well.
