Brass Orchid..your comments are always odd. I suppose you’re referring to the JFK assassination and its relationship to his tax policy. Maybe it’s that, or maybe not. Who the hell would know?
Do you write these sorts of things because you think you’re making witty, but profound statements? Or do you purposely make off-kilter non sequiturs thinking you’re being funny and clever, with no profundity? This communication strategy is itself odd because you clearly fail to communicate clearly.
On the other hand, maybe your intention is NOT to communicate, but to hold yourself out as a wise cipher, an oracle of pearls of wisdom that only you can perceive. Does that make you feel superior to those poor unenlightened souls who don’t “get” your commentary? Maybe yours is the way of the Tao that I am too deluded by maya to perceive. Maybe you’re the great and wise teacher who is simply so far above us mere unenlightened mortals that if we don’t understand, it’s our fault for being ignorant or dumb. But then why bother with commenting at all?
I get that words are imprecise. Using them can be like gathering water with a net. But at least you can TRY to throw the net into the water, can’t you? So I’ll just sit here quietly and contemplate your Dallas “joke koan.” I doubt I have the requisite wisdom and insight for true understanding, though, so I’ll have to struggle with the meaning and may never get it. But, as you pointed out in a prior post, there’s no getting through to people like me, is there?
Money goes up to the richest as public services are cut. Leaving the poor with no money and no help, while the rich get richer. The middle class keeps paying while the rich see less and less going to help the country. But these cuts won’t pay for themselves. This is how W sent us into the great recession Obama spent his 8 years pulling us out of. Trump will drive us back into the misery of the W years, and if his minority base still follows him, they’ll believe it is the Democrats fault after Republicans had control. It is so stupid, it just might work (on Republicans)

Tramp’s phony warmed over Reagan tax plan is designed for the middle class to pay for the tax break the billionaire class will get.

“Trickle Down” MIGHT work, if the rich didn’t think that they need more money.
