God bless Garry Trudeau for this story line. I hope every war vet sees it and takes heart. And God bless our vets. Love ya all!

Wonder who’s learning more, B.D. or Toggle?

Toggle’s speech seems worse now than when he was hanging out with Alex.

OKDK - I remarked on that when he first came out to watch the football team.

Still, it’s cool that he’s trying to put on full sentences, even if said sentences are article-free and lack a few quick verbs. And good for the L-T! Gotta’ love that he’s adapted so much to the situation. For the war or against the war (whichever one, take your pick), you at least gotta’ respect the vets and soldiers.

Students are ALWAYS wiser than the teacher. Just ask them.

Maybe Toggle is more relaxed and happier when he’s with Alex? so he doesn’t spend so much energy working at speaking right, and therefore does it better?

It’s the nature of the injury. Recovery isn’t a straight line. You’ll have good days and bad days. A lot of disabilities are like that. I have my own different problems that are similar in that respect.
