Mom, your son risked life and limb (and eye) in a warzone and you actually care about whether or not he had sex? Wow. What a great parent you are…

I suppose it’s inevitable. Heck we won’t even let the youngest soldiers legally drink because, ya’ know, youngsters are so irresponsible and all. ;)

Can anyone figure out what the tattoo on Leo’s Mom’s arm is? It seems to keep changing from panel to panel, and I can’t figure out what any of them are supposed to be.

Mom with a cross around her neck, messing with a married man, passing judgement on someone else, terrible, selfserving parent. Mom’s a republican.

    ds133, it’s not a tattoo… it’s a bit narly clump of shoulder hair.

Hey guys, ease up on ol’ Mom a bit. She’s a single mom living in a trailer park trying to hold it together for her injured son… and feeling a little protective of him. Y’all seem so judgmental—I’m guessing it’s a class issue. But if Alex takes him away, what’s she got left? Let’s have a little empathy here.

    “Mom’s a republican.”

Are you kidding? She’s Billy Carter’s love child with Jane Fonda.

Alex is still naive about a number of things, so I am sure not only doesn’t she know, she doesn’t want to, either!

Joe - Wifey showed up wherever it was they were “having breakfast”, so perhaps not at his home.

susela - I don’t think the criticism is about class, but about her hypocrisy toward Alex and about her apparent cavalier attitude about dating married men. I agree with you about Mrs. Deluca’s tough situation, but today she’s just plain wrong.

I don’t think Mrs DeLuca bothers to vote. Parents are always hypocrites when it comes to their children’s behavior

Well Alex is still wearing her pj’s and Deluca is wearing her night out on the town attire. I don’t think Mrs. Deluca needs to get so defensive. Not a big deal that Alex was there and Deluca was not. It is great she keeps explaining and gives us that incriminating punch line. She obviously isn’t looking for a long term relationship, or is she?

    fbsjr,

You know nothing about me, so please don’t get all upset and judgmental. My point is a simple one. I work with “kids” in the modern military, and I have nothing but the greatest respect for them. I think it is hypocritical to tell a young man or woman that they are responsible enough to make life and death decisions on the battlefield, and pick their CIC, but a 3.2 Coors is strictly off limits. I’m also about as pro-military as they come.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
