So far they are 0 for 2 on their tries, though. Even the Republicans in "Con"gress know that “Trumpscam” won’t work.

What those bastards want is to kill people. Not with bullets or bombs, just withhold treatment that can save their lives. Like it was before. Going to the ER and waiting in line to die from something they could have survived had it been treated early.

@Argythree. Except the ACA is not what they don’t like. Not because of of policy differences, that is. Nope. Instead, what they don’t like the fact it was organized by a man with a different color skin from theirs. President Obama’s unforgivable sin to the republicans was to be African American. There are minor fixes to the ACA that are needed, and of course the states have to cooperate on behalf of their citizens for it to work, but it’s a fairly well designed program. We need a public option, of course, because markets DO NOT always work without oversight. And just extending Medicare for all would be cheaper and more effective and efficient for the country. But since when have the republicans REALLY done anything that was more effective and more efficient for the country as a whole?

The Republicans will destroy Obamacare. They may not have been able to do it in congress, which they would have preferred because that makes a splashy news announcement and would thrill their base. They will have to resort to less obvious tools, such as executive orders and budget cuts, etc, the same tools that Democrats have used for decades to keep the New Deal type programs such as Social Security, Medicare, and unemployment working. The Republicans will use the same tools to attack those programs. After all, the money for tax cuts for the rich and building walls has to come from somewhere.

That elephant’s pre-existing condition is inaction. They were doing it (nothing) for 6 years before the current “president” stole office. The voters were supposed to drain the swamp.
