The point is, is that everyone is trying to give Snoopy “advice” on his speech. Yesterday, it was Lucy with her women’s lib suggestion; today, it is Linus and his theological approach. Snoopy isn’t interested in their suggestions. He can write a good speech all by himself. :-)
I don’t know if this makes me a bad person but I get really annoyed when people (kindly) offer me advice on what I should do even though my mind is made up.
They think they are helping but they’re not. Sorry.
