Har! I have absolutely no sympathy for traitorous Confederate sympathizers who want to preserve “historical monuments” celebrating white supremacists attacking people of color. And for those who don’t think the (US) Civil War was about slavery, READ SOME HISTORY.http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/apnewsbreak-orleans-confederate-statues-46977416
I know it won’t be, but wouldn’t it be great if the grossly incompetent Trump did accomplish putting the final nail in the coffin of the idea of the confederacy that the Republicans still worship? If he does a bad enough job, the rest of the people will see his bigoted agenda of fear is not the way to “govern” this country. Wouldn’t that actually make America great again?
@MDAVIS: Everyone but you knows that the two political parties are totally different than they were years ago. The Republicans became the party of racists and Democrats became the party that cares for more than their bank account.
@MDavis4183. ALL the people in the cartoon have something to do with racism. The Attorney General was turned down for a role by Congress years ago for racist statements. Steve Bannon is an open white supremacist that the Southern Poverty Law Center has named as being on the “Extremist Fringe.” (David Duke and the KKK both endorse him.) Trump helped screen his dad, who built housing with federal money but then kept out blacks – and had to testify before Congress about it, which is why Donald stepped in. Etc., etc., etc.

98% of the people who voted for Trump still support him. Talk about confirmation bias!
