Ain’t he though? But THIS is going to be a challenge, even for Chub. He has to pacify Bucky and calm down Fungo.

If he tries that with Bucky, there is liable to be a war.

We could all use a Chubby Huggs in our life.

I believe Fungo is a lot more rational than Bucky, but he has to protect himself and the family.

Sometimes I wonder what life would have been like for Rob and Satchel if the kitten they adopted had been Chubby Huggs instead of Bucky.

I mean, jeez, at the end of so many strips, I wish I could give Satchel a big hug. Especially the ones where the last panel is Satchel looking dejected and saying, “Awwww…” because of something Bucky has said or done.

Anyway, I predict Satchel would be very happy with Chubby as his housemate, while Rob would eventually get tired of the unrelenting affection. And we the readers would certainly have less interesting lives.

We have 2 cats that are almost as affectionate as Chubby. One of ’em used to be feral, the other is her daughter.

Who could help them stop the fight??? Rob could stop it by simply being a responsible pet owner and talking with his neighbor to trade the items that had been swiped. Everyone gets their stuff back; fight cancelled.
