I’ve seen squirrels. This is not unusual behavior. It does not require explanation. They are, to put it in common terms, a bit “squirrelly”. I am a bit concerned that he is out of the yard and out by the road, though. That is usually not a good place for a squirrel.

I live on a corner. It’s a 4-way “Slow down and roll on through if you feel like it”, but that’s too big to fit on the sign.
