I love the short memories. Sen Reid and the Dems went nuclear sometime ago. This is just the final fallout.

Elections have consequences Dems!!!! He’s going to be confirmed, Deal with it. It will be even more fun when another Lib retires or passes away. Soon the Democrats won’t be able to command America with the Fiat of the Bench.

It would be nice to think that representative democracy is a viable form of government. The US seems to be trying to prove that it isn’t.

Any rule of procedure in a body such as the Senate that can be changed, can be changed again…and again…and again…

And, given that the the Republicans used the rules to block as much of the Obama agenda as they could, thus essentially making the Senate irrelevant for progress of the nation, changes of all sorts might at least shake things up until some sanity returns.

Just please stand very close to each other. Give us another chance to build government back and better without corporate collusion.

The Democrats have never used the Nuclear option for a Supreme Court nominee. The Democrats have never blocked an up or down vote for a Supreme Court nominee. This is how Republicans govern. They certainly don’t legislate. They gerrymander and change rules.
