The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 44% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-six percent (56%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 27% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 44% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -17
I don’t get this isolation thought. President Trump says “America first.” Any President ought to do this. Yes, we take into consideration other nations, however their first and foremost loyalty is to the nation that they are President of.
He pushes NATO which has knowing allowed the member countries to do nothing for decades and not live up to their financial obligations – while we pay more. This has been ignored by many Presidents of both parties.
A wall (which won’t really work) is pushed because Mexico is the largest route by which ILLEGAL immigrants come into this nation. We could better accomplish this by transporting the ILLEGAL immigrants our of the United States to their nation of origin and heavily fining any company found to be employing them.
Explain to me what is so wrong about looking out for your own nation and its citizens/residents?
Preliminary results showed Merkel’s conservative Christian Democratic Union won 40.7% of the vote in tiny Saarland state, in southwestern Germany. That was up from 35.2% in 2012 and topped the 29.6% won by the Social Democrats led by Martin Schulz.
Either way, it looks as if the AfD isn’t going to be that big a player in the coming federal elections. The populists everywhere appear to be fading. I think Brexit and Trump have sounded a warning call to the Europeans that they are hearing big time.

Don’t count Merkel out. An unexpected win here:
