Oh, the nominee speaks like a non-partisan, but just wait until the re-hashing of Roe v. Wade or Citizens United…you’ll see RED!

We have SCOTUS because ambiguous laws need be interpreted. Our representatives (mostly lawyers) write ambiguous laws to skirt around the objections of “other” legislators with a different view rather than reconcile the law into a non-ambiguous form. It seems that if we had a non-opposing Congress that worked together, we could avoid a lot of time, effort, and tax-payer money and not have to worry about partisan bias in SCOTUS.

We have current problems that are being neglected so that our politicians - who seem to have traveled through time from 40 years ago - can debate fringe ideological abstractions that the majority of the public no longer care about.

If Gorsuch IS confirmed, we should make sure his chair has “Garlands” around it…

Unfortunately, the GOP can still win this battle for power as long as #45 is in office and they control the Senate!

If there was no such thing as a Democrat or Republican judge, the GOP would have done their job a year and a half ago and given Garland an up or down vote. Now that the president is the right color, the Republicans are going to start looking at the Supreme court again.

    Was Scalia non-partisan?

The Supreme Court just unanimously overturned a Gorsuch decision — in the middle of his confirmation hearing.

Republicans believe that Gorsuch is the resurrection of corrupt Scalia.

Using “Democrat” as an adjective is so Republican.

Yes. I am a DEMOCRAT! A member of the DEMOCRATIC party. The “Democrat” party meme is straight from Flush Limbaugh. (He actually USED to be funny. About25 years ago!)
