Remember the opening of “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”? Except for the hair, Hitchcock and Trump would have nearly the same silhouette. But whose program is scarier?
Trump’s tweets, constant golf trips and expensive secret service bills are all great for the Republicans, because they are great for ratings and consequently keep the press occupied. The Republicans are not going to impeach Trump until they have exploited his ability to distract the press from what they are up to to the maximum extent that they can. At that point, they will act astonished that he turned out to be such a disaster, apologize at length for any part they may have accidentally played in inflicting him on the country, and explain ( truthfully) that they told the voters that Trump was a train wreck going somewhere to happen and they voted for him anyway
What I don’t get is why this man doesn’t realize what a complete ass he’s making of himself. Is his contempt for everyone not him so complete? Or is he the walking example of Einstein’s definition of insanity: continuing to tweet to get himself something when all he gets is a worse and worse global reputation.

Trump is the moral poster boy for the GOP. Heck, even Orin Hatch has turned into a groveling water boy for the P-grabbing un-president.
