The tree looks weird. I read both current & classic Garfield. Classic is better. Garfield looks funnier, plumper & acts more like a cat. The backgrounds & items were more detailed. I grew up on Garfield when it first came out. The original was too big, but he evolved into “just right” in size. Hanging stuffed-toy Garfields were all the rage for your car windows. Now he just looks mass-produced & computer generated. No real backgrounds. He stands up all of the time, and is skinnier. Very little real cat characteristics. I do not think that Garfield changed for the better. He was much more mischievous back then with tons of different facial expressions. He has devolved.

Getting down from the tree is even more challenging for Garfield.

The tree had a instance of “open mouth, insert foot” – or in this case, “insert root”

Nah. Cleats won’t harm the tree. Lawn spike shoes will though.

This is why Mr Beast created Team Trees. To sav e trees from getting branches(and the rest of the tree)snapped by Garfield
