    “I don’t anything new unless I’ve eaten it before,” he says. Uh-huh.

    Tony’s question: What food do you love?

    Well my personal food pyramid has a base of Ice Cream.

    It’s a bit like with music: There’s almost always something I like or even love, but not always everything.

    You won’t know unless you try it

    Jumping off of a cliff looks like fun, but you won’t know until you try it….

    I do not recommend that you use that one on spousal or parental units.

    That kid is the Late and Unlamented. I swear, it was a wonder he ever got off mother’s milk. Took me seven years to get him to try Tuna-Noodle casserole.

    We don’t eat meat in our house, but Hubby and I will try any food that passes our way. He’s particularly fond of Asian foods – Chinese, Thai, Indian.

    Then it isn’t new, moron. And you know, you’d be surprised what you like if you’d just try it. I remember when my grandma told me I was going to try something I’d never tried before. I asked her what it was and she said “okra.” I told her I didn’t like okra. I was saying that because the name was weird. But guess what? I was the one to eat it all! I only like it fried up, though.

    @Tony:

    There is very little (if anything) that I don’t like. And I’d like it if you all would consider answering today’s…

    Second “Daddy’s Home” Question:

    Have you eaten something new lately?

    Kid Logic!

    I love too much to list here. And, no, I haven’t eaten something new lately. I guess at my age, I have pretty much tried it all.

    Yeah, made vegan tacos recently. They were great! But a lot of prep work.

    My first overseas assignment, in the 70’s, was to Okinawa. I decided early on I would eat anything that was put in front of me so long as it didn’t stare back and wasn’t still moving (raw is good but it has to stop moving!). I don’t recall eating anything that I didn’t enjoy. I employed the same rule on all future assignments and temporary duty visits all around the world and gained a taste for all manner of good stuff… shame I can’t find a lot of it here in the US. And when I occasionally do, it’s never done as well 8^)

    Is it just me, or does anyone else feel a sense of dèja vu regarding today’s strip?
