And trump calls himself a populist. How is the healthcare plan he is proposing have anything to do with protecting the common man?

if the poor go with out amenities will the GOP deem them worthy to be allowed health care? Will grovelling at the richest’s feet be enough to let us have some health care?

In other words; pay for your own treatments. Back to square one.

Yep several hundred I phones a year for a policy. Maybe Chaffetz would benefit by carrying a few Samsungs in his pants pockets, charging?

No. The GOP motto is: tax cuts for the few, particularly the 1%, and “drek” for the rest!

Just go to SinglePayer, Medicare for all, or whatever you want to call it. It’s what the Democrats have been trying to get since FDR. We have Obamacare because the Republicans were more interested in keeping the insurance and pharmaceutical companies happy than they were in actually providing health care, and the Democrats figured it was at least a foot in the door. So, the Republicans’ current efforts to replace Obamacare, which are “more difficult than anyone knew”, are going to piss off those industries and knock 24 million people off of insurance, guaranteeing a backlash in the 2018 elections. Single Payer is an easy out. The insurance and pharmaceutical companies will be pissed, but the Democrats will vote for it, the Republicans will get the credit, and no one even has to die.

I like that they are being more staightforward about the USA being a plutocracy.——- Of the rich, for the rich, and by the rich.
