Unfortunately for the poor, sick and helpless, Paul Ryan and the republicans are great proponents of the Ann Rand theory of life which can best be summed up as “survival of the fittest”. When Ryan first got to Congress, he made a point of passing out copies of Rand’s books to all his staff and made the writings of the soviet-era propagandist required reading. He has since “disavowed” this particular facet of communism but his actions and the actions of others in his party surely don’t show it!

It’s quite incorrect to say 20 million Americans will lose their health coverage under TrumpCare; it’s more like 20 million Americans now have the right to choose to not buy health insurance under TrumpCare.

    OMB DIRECTOR MULVANEY:

“That’s what we’re trying to fix. Not coverage for people, not coverage they can afford, but care they can afford. When they get sick, they can go to the doctor.”

Put me in mind of the “dental monitor” in the LifeLock commercial.

    Aren’t you gonna fix it?

I’m not the surgeon who removes your gall bladder, I’m just the doctor who tells you you need to have it taken out

    or that you need chemotherapy

or that you need treatment for addiction
