I’d be surprised if it was just Priebus. This administration stinks, and they are trying to shore up support and preemptively attack the media and the intelligence community. This was an attempt to confuse the issue as well as set the FBI against the press before even more damaging evidence comes out. The white house lies, and lately they have been saying there is no link to Russia. I will assume they are lying about this as well and we should have a non-political investigation.
I have yet to see any actual evidence to suggest the email hackers were working for the Russian government. My understanding is the FBI offered to investigate, but the DNC refused to allow access to their servers. They wanted a 3rd party company of the DNC’s choosing to investigate the servers and then hand over that access to the FBI. If true, that’s a huge red flag reminiscent of when they tried to frame Sanders for improperly gaining access to Hillary’s voter info in order to cut off Sanders’ rightful access. Again, without evidence, the Russian hacker accusation is no more credible than the accusation the emails were actually provided a disgruntled member of Hillary’s campaign. It doesn’t matter how much you want to postulate on if I’d even accept the evidence if presented, ‘cause you ain’t got none for me to reject.
However, by Trump’s own words and those of his son, they have a great deal of financial ties to the Russians. I do agree that deserves a proper, independent investigation. Trump should be investigated on his financial dealings to ensure his business ties do not influence policy and do not violate the emoluments clause. As much as Republicans rightly complained about the Clintons using their charity for influence peddling, it’s very hypocritical to not complain about Trump’s business dealings with foreign governments.

Obviously, there must be nothing to the investigation of the Trump campaign’s continuous contact with Russian officials.
.
I mean, if there was something really there, Priebus would not be making illegal contact with the FBI trying to get the investigation quashed.

It’s unlikely Comey required Runt Preemie’s influence; he was probably already in cahoots with the KGB, Trump or both.

If he was a democrat the republicans would be calling him a traitor.
