Knowing Trump, he’ll keep campaigning even after winning his second term, then express shock, disbelief, and denial when told he can’t run for a third term. (Not that I think he’s going to get a second term…)
Last night’s address was just another stump speech. i made the mistake of answering a White House email survey and now i get spammed with White House emails telling me what a great job he’s doing. Guess that’s what i get for telling them what i really think… but they did ask for my opinion.
I first noticed this 16 years ago: when Dubya took office, he never shifted from campaign mode to governing mode. Seemed he only knew the one thing.
Then again, maybe it’s the culture: I noticed about 20 years ago that software manuals had become more advertising (telling you about all the great things the program could do) than instruction (telling you how to do these great things). Maybe we’re all stuck in a culture that knows nothing beyond promotion.

In Canada, it is illegal to campaign on public money. Who’s money is the Rump campaigning with?

Because the law is different if it’s a campaign—he can fundraise and keep getting money from all the marks he’s conning.
