But the issue is not whether Islam is sick. It is. The question is what you do about it. President Obama tried to tamp down the rhetoric for obvious reasons. Alternatively, trump compulsively pushes violent and repressive measures that are sure to exacerbate those deluded young Muslims’ violent religious dreams. One strategy is careful and deliberate. The other is inflammatory and provocational. Which strategy is likely to reduce Islamic terrorists?
