    Soon, Tarzan will have to save one or more natives from a rampaging elephant…plus, put the elephant out of its misery.

    Time for Tarzan to leap upon an elephant’s back and put it in a choke hold while he stabs it in the stomach like he does the cats.

    I don’t remember Burroughs killing any elephants, except perhaps those mad with musth. Tantor is Tarzan’s old friend and Tarzan would not take part in such a slaughter.

    Hopefully, this is where Tarzan saves Tantor’s life and they become friends. I just can’t imagine Tarzan joining in a slaughter of elephants.
