    Number 1, with the use-it-or-lose-it philosophy, park out a little farther so you walk in.

    Number 2, unless you’re a rich plugger, a shopping cart ding will rarely show up among the other badges of honor from all the places you’ve been and the things that you’ve done.

    So what? Ford® F-150’s (pictured there) and Chevy® S-10’s can take punishment from things like that. We’ve seen the TV ads.

    A true plugger knows the cart will be damaged, appreciates that the store provides carts and does what he can to keep the carts in good shape.
