This one is a little confusing. A tournament implies that there was more than one game, so if Michael lost the tournament from losing one game that means they came in second place. Usually that’s considered to be pretty good. The coach should be proud of his team instead of crying; but we have seen from yesterday’s strip, the guy is not a very good coach.

Yesterday they were behind by 4 goals with only 9 minutes. Must have make a real turnaround to get ‘this close’ in that time. Coach and kids should be proud, even though they would be a little sad at losing.

Better him crying than smashing the wall, swearing at the kids and getting drunk.

“grown men” and “tournaments” don’t belong in the same sentence.
