“The Blob” an incarnadine amorphous eating machine. A shoggoth knock off. But I liked the 1988 up date. Just where is the follow through by the damaged reverend keeping a living bit for “the right time” to release it when Jehovah’s angels trump telling him to free the all eating blob. One of the “Phantoms” (Ur-shoggoth) came to Colorado in 1996 and is still roaming the country today. What would happen if they tried to absorb each other? Who would win, lose, both or neither?
