Rover, you don’t seriously believe that our former presidents were not also operating under the intention of doing what was best for the nation, do you? That bit was simply a slam at the sitting past presidents. And, in fact, he has never said what he would to to realize these goals. It was a negative campaign speech taken in its entirety, in no way unifying and inappropriate for the occasion.
