I believe that Trump and his supporters truly believe that what he plans to do is, while not actually legal, is the “right thing” to do and the establishment politicians spend too much time in making weak decisions.
Why even bother with an oath? He wouldn’t take one at the start of the campaign. He won’t separate himself from his businesses. He won’t show his tax returns. He has dealings with Putin. Why even waste our time with his empty oath?
