This was a terrible sentence for someone who’s crime was exposing the terrible things the Bush administration was doing. So it makes sense that Republicans would be against it. Obama did it, so they hate it. The Republican party should dump the elephant and just go with a pair of flip flops from now on.

Let’s hope Putin doesn’t convince you-know-who to reconsider the Snowden case. Snowden might end up as a cabinet nomination. Or ambassador to Russia.

Manning was not pardoned, Manning’s sentence was commuted after serving seven years. There is a difference, you know—-or maybe you DON’T know…

Notice that no one in the previous Bush administration were prosecuted for crimes they committed. Obama’s Presidency protected them.
