Mike: ... and those are tonight's top headlines! We'll be right back in two hundred and forty seconds! It's now been nearly two weeks since the inaugural. In tonight's commentary, Mark Slackmeyer assesses the first ten days of the Carter administration! Mark: Good evening. In the opinion of the management of WBBY, the first ten days of the Carter administration have been a national disgrace! The sixth day in particular was a huge disappointment. Not since Kennedy's ninety-third day in office has any American president performed so indecisively in carrying out his duties! The seventh through the tenth days were marked by the same capriciousness. As a result, unemployment has remained high, inflation rages unabated, and crime and poverty still plague our decaying cities! In short, the first ten days of the new administration have been an unmitigated disaster, shattering the dreams of millions of Americans who had dared to place their hopes in the hands of a man called Carter! Mike: Uh.. responsible opposing viewpoints... Mark: While it is probably too early to talk impeachment...
