Gabby: Can't believe you made me walk to school in waist-deep snow. Grandma: There's less than an inch of snow outside. Gabby: Oh, right, I forgot. The snow only got waist-deep when you were a child! Grandma: Hope you didn't wear your boots out walking uphill both ways!

I’ve lived two places where it was possible to walk uphill both ways; the place I worked and the place where I lived were both on top of hills.
