If you include the motion of our solar system through the Milky Way galaxy, and said galaxy’s travels through the known universe, it’s more like tens of thousands of MPH.

The earth is moving at approximately 1,040 mph, we aren’t permanently attached, hopefully it doesn’t suddenly stop!
