I KNOW this! Everyone thinks artists enjoy their work SO much, that they will do anything for little or know pay. Art cost supplies to buy and time. Hang in there!
I confess I’ve taken a picture of one of Dan’s pieces at a con, but only to text it to my daughter (who wasn’t at the con) to see if she was interested in my purchasing it for her. She wasn’t, but I ended up buying another piece from him for my other daughter. Next time I’m in that situation, I’ll try to remember to ask if it’s OK, explaining that I’m texting it to see if someone would like to purchase it.

I have been to craft/art shows and I so wanted to take a picture, but could not make myself do so. artist guilt

Now I want a high resolution photo of Dan sitting at his booth with his artwork prominently displayed on the table in front of him.
