    I never wish for snow! I hate shoveling it, I hate driving in it and I even hate walking in it. I guess I live in the wrong state (Wisconsin). But I was born and raised here and have no desire to move to another state. Spring is coming!

    I spent two years on Guam…….no seasons at all! I vowed I would never complain about snow, and I’ve kept the vow. (I live in Illinois—-near Chicago.)

    We have not had snow for years here. When I was a child, we had much, it was 1m high, but now, it’s the warming of the climate!!

    @ laughingkitty I feel the same way about California, I hate the heat and never liked beaches but I too was born and raised here and have no desire to move to another state.

    Where I live(Michigan), we have 4 seasons: “almost winter”, “winter”, “still winter” and “construction”.

    In South Texas it it Summer, more Summer and late Summer followed by fall, later summer, Winter in bits, then back to short Spring then long Summer again.

    Nah, it only feels that way because of the humidity. Most of the state is much hotter, but until it gets over 100F we don’t consider it hot.
