I think it would be more accurate to have the bag labeled “Diebold” (or any of its descendants). Yes, Putin assiduously worked the propaganda angle, but he was just tying into the infrastructure which the GOP has built up over generations. It’s the outright theft of elections through black boxes, which take in votes and put out whatever the programmers choose, that should have people up in arms. Whatever hacking Putin’s gang did would be irrelevant without 1) those black boxes, and 2) the voter suppression attacks on the citizenry, perpetrated by Republicans.
