Hey, when you get to be my age, that happens a lot.

Heck, if you’re not going anyplace, you can stay as grubby as you please. Why shave and get presentable (nothing wrong with taking a shower though. Ya gotta be at least THAT civilized!).

BTW, my sister once lived in Quito, Ecuador. She was a missionary. Are you anywhere near there?

Perhaps he is remembering the old days, the ones when he worked and came home looking that way.

Also from yesterday, a couple people referenced John Denver, but Tom Petty’s “Walls” has the lyrics “Some days are diamonds, some days are rocks”. Denver says stones.

Hubby stopped shaving the day he retired. Fortunately, I am very fond of men with fuzzy faces.
