I was student teaching in 1962 when he made his historic trip. I clearly recall the display that had been set up in the cafeteria with colored pins that were tracking his hour by hour progress around the planet. I was in awe then, and I am in awe now.

Yeah, two more days to compile all the lies from Soviet days to Putin’s orders to his protogé Trump, so you, as loyal agent, can spew them forth. What? That he flew more combat missions than most. Most countries give medals for that. That he was a Democrat? That is public record. Something totally made up? That’s your usual style. Whoopee!
