Well he plays well against some and not against others because some games he’s motivated, some he’s not, based on past strips. Nothing to do with the opponent’s’ defense. So what is the cause of his irregular play? (Cue someone to suggest Ex-Lax.) Is it his late night partying, or is it drugs? Or is it some kind of bi-polar situation? Or getting depressed because of his mother’s yet to be disclosed ailment? Whatever it is, whether it makes sense is not a given. And speaking of givens, it’s a given that today’s Mopped Up Thorp is the last strip of 2016.

P2 – A two-handed reverse dunk? The Valley Conference always has a lot of high-flying top notch high school talent. There are plenty of extremely talented and athletic players in this area every year, college scouts must visit all season.

It might not matter if the coaches figure out the big guy because they’re about to get “Boo Radley’ed”. (too soon?)

Also, if they’re really interested in figuring out what’s wrong, they can wait until morning, where they can write Heather a pass to miss class.
